About

In a future where climate change has sunk the coasts and blood rains from the sky, a tour group climbs Machu Picchu, Perú despite an ongoing land dispute. Centuries earlier, on the same mountain, a third-gender oracle predicts the collapse of the Inca Empire and life as they know it. No one knows about the creature stalking the highlands in the shape of one 1924 Republican Senator of Connecticut, but they're about to find out. A speculative, surreal folk horror investigating the United States' role in the erasure of Indigenous trans history, and the ways we've survived what others call "apocalypse".

  • Genre: Magical Realism
