A new IATI Theater is coming!

We look forward to unveiling our new state-of-the-art lobby and facade at the 64 E 4th ST Cultural Center during Spring 2024!

Our offices remain open, and our 2nd-floor rehearsal studio continues to be available to rent. Our street level theaters will reopen in 2024.

COVID-19 Safety Protocols

We are not currently implementing Covid-19 protocols. However, we recognize it is still a concern for our communities. To keep yourself and those around you safe, we recommend taking precautions. Masks and testing are optional but encouraged. Additionally, while we will not verify vaccination status, getting vaccinated offers the highest protection against complications from Covid-19.

‣ Learn where to get vaccinated here.
‣ Get free Covid-19 tests here.

Please note that the protocols are subject to change and will always follow public safety guidelines.

Accessibility

ACCESSIBLE SEATING

Accessible seating is available at our theaters. An elevator leads to both performance spaces*. Please select Accessible or Wheelchair tickets when purchasing online.

*Please note: our offices and rehearsal/performance studio, located up a flight of stairs on the second floor, are not currently wheelchair accessible.

WHEELCHAIR STORAGE

Wheelchair-accessible seating is available. If you would like to remain in your wheelchair for the performance, our staff will remove the theater chair. You can give us a heads-up by emailing hola@iatitheater.org or calling us at 212-505-6757.

For guests who wish to transfer to a seat from their wheelchair, we are more than happy to store your wheelchair in our lobby during the performance. The House Manager will bring your wheelchair to you at the end of the performance.

RESTROOMS

All our restrooms are gender-neutral and wheelchair accessible.  The restroom doorways are 26″ wide.

LOOKING BACK AND MOVING FORWARD

We acknowledge that our location in the East Village and the architecture of our buildings have not historically been the most accessible. We are actively taking steps to bridge those gaps. We would love to hear from you about other accessibility projects we should consider!

Please submit any suggestions and/or feedback on accessibility experiences you’ve had at our theatre to hola@iatitheater.org.
We hope to hear from you!
