“Fifty fun facts sobre Olivia, mi madre” is a bilingual stage piece about a teenage boy navigating his mother’s medical crisis while caught between cultures, languages, and identities. Blending humor, memory, and autofiction, the play explores what it means to care for the person who once cared for you—and the silences, losses, and fun facts that shape a life across borders.

Nora Coss | 🇲🇽 Mexico
Playwright, stage director, screenwriter, and novelist. She has been the recipient of various national grants and awards and won the Juan Rulfo Fine Arts Prize for her debut novel Nubecita (2018). Her plays have been staged throughout Mexico by her own company, Tartaruga Teatro since 2005, as well as by other independent groups, and featured in major anthologies. She has taken part in festivals in Colombia, Guatemala, Spain, and the U.S. She is member of Mexico’s National System of Art Creators.

Director
(they/them, elle en Español) is a Brooklyn-based, multi-hyphenated theatre artist and educator. Born in Colombia to a Lebanese family, they have performing, directing, and producing credits with companies such as Repertorio Español, Ensemble Studio Theatre, INTAR, Misi, Latine Musical Theatre Lab, IATI Theater, Working Theater, and Radical Evolution. They also work as a teaching artist with elementary school students in North Brooklyn public schools, and have contributed voice work to audiobook projects for the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (Library of Congress), as well as Spanish-language versions of Little Robots, The Princess and the Pea, and Sesame Street, where they provided singing voices for the Latin American edition. www.laurariveros-sefair.com
