About Ágora 2026
Ágora 2026 gathers IATI Theater’s signature Fiestas — Queertástico, Mujerstory, and Tertulia — into one immersive week of performances, workshops, and community gatherings.
From March 16–22, artists, educators, and audiences come together to celebrate underrepresented voices through theater, comedy, movement, conversation, and collective care.
Each event within the festival has its own focus and ticketing, offering multiple ways to participate throughout the week.

The Golden Door — Public Reading
Ágora 2026 opens with a staged reading of The Golden Door by Tom Donoghue, directed by Arian Blanco in collaboration with Hudson Exploited Theater Company.
Set in New York City, the play follows three Venezuelan immigrants navigating friendship, identity, and undocumented life with humor, resilience, and courage.
