Synopsis

IATI Theater celebrates Women’s History Month with a multilingual free event dedicated to women of all generations, backgrounds, and nationalities.

Shining a light on the traditionally overlooked power and persistence of women of color, immigrants, and working female artists, Our main event Women in the Arts will take place on Sunday, March 10, which will consist of two-parts: 1) a panel of female artists discussing the current landscape and role of women in art, followed by, 2) a poetry reading by some of the most vanguardist female voices of our city. We will also be showcasing art pieces by female artists.
