About the Show:

In the near future, an ice-covered moon is found to contain life, along with a possible source for long-lasting clean energy deep within its waters.  Two astronauts, a man and wife, are chosen to investigate the groundbreaking discovery.  They embark on an ambitious quest that will take them far into the depths of this vast new world.  But as they sink deeper into the realm of this lunar ocean, in search of a key to the extension of human sustenance, they are forced to reexamine their own connection and question what it is that has kept them together.

About the artists:

Cloud of Fools Theater Company, based in New York City, is composed of alumni from Columbia University’s Graduate Acting Program. They have been training, teaching, and performing here in New York and internationally since 2003.  The root of their theater as a “Cloud of Fools” is an ongoing, rigorous practical exploration wherein they find their way forward by listening to (and conversing with) the masters of the past. They look at the traditions that have been passed down from all over Europe, Russia, India, and Asia. From these deep wells of human story and theatrical experience, they unfold a theater at once timeless, and ceaselessly new.
