Egüeco tells the story of two men that find each other in the multiverse that transitions from life to the eternity. While time passes, they find themselves between the absence of memories and fears' dictatorship. The only thing that helps them channel the intangible is company. But, how long is the wait? What can one do while waiting?

About the Playwright

Janilka Romero is a Puerto Rican actress, director and playwright. She possesses a BA in acting from the University of Puerto Rico. Her credits include: The Foolish Lady (Dean Zayas), The Crucible (Jacqueline Duprey), Yerma (Jorge Rodulfo), When I Was Puerto Rican (Cristina Soler). For the last edition of the FUERZAfest (New York) she directed Mr. Mr. & Dr. Dr., a play that won best actor, best playwright and best production. Her training includes: Stella Adler Studio Summer Conservatory and Shakespeare Intensive (NYC), Yuyachkani’s Lab (Perú), Malayerba’s Lab (Ecuador), Lessac Method (PR), among others. Romero’s writing work have been published in magazines as Trasuntos, Caminos Convergentes, Ingenios and Nagari.
